Brunel University London is a world-class university based in Uxbridge, West London, and was established in 1966. Our mission has always been to combine academic rigour with the practical, entrepreneurial and imaginative approach pioneered by our namesake Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Brunel is ranked 10th in the UK and 93rd in the world for Engineering and Technology, Times Higher Education 2015. We offer a wide range of engineering and technology programmes in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Electronic and Computer Engineering, Product and Industrial Design and Computer Science. Brunel also offers courses in Business, Arts and Social Sciences as well as in Health and Life Sciences such as our highly ranked and ever so popular OT, Physiotherapy, Biosciences and Sport Sciences programmes. Brunel is a campus-based university and has the biggest single campus in London. So virtually everything you need is on-site including halls of residence, catering, social, sports and study facilities, lecture theatres, the Library and support services. The University is just a short walk from Uxbridge Underground station, so it is a straightforward journey into the centre of the capital.
